Who it suits
This is the full length drawsheet in the SatinSheet system, for a dependent client who needs repositioning in every direction: up and down the bed as well as side to side. The satin underside runs against a base sheet on the mattress, and the friction between the two is low enough that a carer can guide a client’s whole body with a steady pull.
Built in handles give carers a proper grip at the right height, so the movement can be done with the arms and body in a safe working posture. With handles on both sides, one carer can manage movements that would otherwise need two, which matters for overnight and single staff shifts.
The maxi length covers the client head to foot, so the shoulders and legs travel together and posture is not lost during the move. It needs a base sheet underneath to work.
