A kiosk blood pressure monitor for waiting rooms, clinics and pharmacies where people take their own reading while they wait. The arm goes into the cuff tunnel and one button starts the measurement, so there is nothing to wrap, fasten or explain.
The cuff tightens by a torque controlled belt drive, which applies the same hold a nurse would with a manual cuff and adapts to the arm in front of it. That keeps readings consistent across a mixed population and holds up to heavy daily use.
Results print on a built in high speed printer with easy paper changes, and an irregular heart beat indicator flags on the printout so a client can bring it to the GP. An optional communication board adds RS-232C or Bluetooth output if you want readings into a system. A dedicated stand, stool, foot switch and carry case are available.
