A wrist monitor suits a person who cannot manage an upper arm cuff on their own, or who finds arm inflation too uncomfortable to keep doing. The UB-1100BLE is an all in one wrist unit that sends readings to a phone or tablet over Bluetooth, so the record builds itself.
Because wrist readings are only accurate at heart level, the monitor includes correct position guidance that tells the person when the wrist is where it should be. It also flags an irregular heartbeat or atrial fibrillation, alerts on a loose cuff, and warns if the person moved during the measurement.
It holds memory for five users plus a guest and stores readings in the device, so a measurement can still be taken with the phone in another room. It charges by USB and travels easily.
