A full electric ward bed for aged care and hospital rooms where residents need position changes through the day and staff need to work at a safe height. Backrest, knee break and height all run from a handset, and the handset has a lockout so functions can be shut off for a confused or restless patient.
Who it suits
It fits clients who spend long periods in bed and need sitting up for meals, pressure relief and respiratory comfort. The knee break holds the person back in the bed and stops them sliding down, which matters for anyone with limited trunk control. Removable head and foot boards and removable ABS side rails let you set the bed up for the risk profile in front of you.
For carers, the height range brings the mattress platform up for wound care and dressing and drops it low for a client who transfers independently. Central locking castors mean one pedal locks the bed, and drainage bag holders and an IV pole are already on the frame. A mattress is supplied to suit the platform.
