A five function ICU bed built for high needs patients in long term treatment. Along with electric backrest, height and knee break, the whole platform tilts, which lets the team use Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning for circulation, respiratory management and pressure care.
The tilt function also supports early standing work for clients with hemiplegia, paraplegia or traumatic brain injury, where graded upright positioning is part of the rehabilitation plan and the person cannot yet tolerate a full stand.
Removable head and foot boards and removable ABS side rails let staff change the setup as the patient’s risk changes. Drainage bag holders and an IV pole are part of the frame, and heavy duty central locking castors hold the bed still during procedures. Hoist clearance under the frame means a full body sling lift can be driven in.
