Knee support is what keeps a client’s shins stable while a sit to stand hoist brings them upright. This complete large knee support for the Molift Quick Raiser 1 and 2 includes the bracket and the pads, so a hoist supplied without one can be brought up to a full standing setup.
The pads are height adjustable on the bracket and can be turned around to change the contact surface, which lets you fine tune the fit for a client with bony shins, oedema or a knee that sits at an unusual angle. Good contact here reduces forward slide and gives the client something to push against.
The larger size suits clients with a broader lower leg or a longer shin.
