A falls monitor that has slipped down behind the bed is not much use to anyone. The fixing strap is what holds it where staff can see the indicator and reach the reset.
This is the manufacturer’s replacement strap for securing a Cura1 falls monitor to a bed frame, chair or other fixture. Straps get cut, stretched or lost when equipment moves between rooms, and a monitor without one tends to end up on the floor.
Keeping a few spares means a monitor can be remounted properly when a client changes rooms, not propped somewhere and knocked off overnight.
