This is the transmitter that puts alarm messages onto pagers and LED displays across a site. It takes alarm inputs from Cura1 equipment and sends them out over VHF, which carries through a building far better than short range wireless and covers the areas where staff are hardest to reach.

Frequency, channel spacing, power level and baud rate are all programmable, so the unit can be set up to fit the licence and the site. Seven output power levels let an installer use only as much power as the building needs. A temperature cutout protects the transmitter if it is working hard, and LED indicators show power and transmission at a glance.

Operating a POCSAG paging transmitter requires a licence from the ACMA in Australia, and installation is a job for a technician.
