Sometimes one nurse call point has to serve two devices: a falls monitor at the bed head and the resident’s own call pendant. The Cura1 2449 Y lead does that job. Two stereo line sockets at one end, a right-angle stereo plug at the other, and both devices raise the alarm through the single call point.
The right-angle plug sits flat against the wall plate, which keeps the lead out of the way and takes the strain off the socket. There is nothing to power and nothing to configure, so a maintenance officer can fit it in a minute.
This is a wiring accessory rather than client equipment, so it belongs on a facility order rather than a plan quote. If the site’s nurse call uses a smaller or mono connection, Cura1 makes other Y leads (2492, 2495, 2497) and we can match the right one to the socket.
Good to know
- Check the nurse call socket type before ordering; a 6.35 mm stereo plug will not suit every system
- Sold as the lead only
- Compatible with Cura1 falls monitors that have a 6.35 mm nurse call output
