On a shared treatment couch, one control is rarely in the right place. This splitter lets two controls run from a single electric couch, so a foot switch and a hand control can both be connected, or a control can sit on either side of the plinth.

In a busy clinic that saves the therapist walking around the couch, and it means a clinician who works from one side does not have to move a lead between sessions. Where a client is being transferred onto the couch with assistance, having a control within reach on both sides keeps the therapist’s hands free for the person.
