A simple bed rail for clients at risk of rolling out of bed. It is a plain barrier on the side of the bed, and for clients who move a lot in their sleep or who wake disoriented, that barrier is often all that is needed to keep them safe overnight.
Fitting takes no tools. The base slides under the mattress once the person is in bed and their weight holds it in place, so a carer can put it on at night and take it off in the morning without touching the bed frame.
The frame is epoxy coated steel, which stands up to regular cleaning and to being moved in and out of position every day. Note that a bed rail is only appropriate after an entrapment and falls risk assessment.
