R82 Meerkat Sandals hold a child’s feet flat and hip-width apart on the Meerkat footplate, so load goes through the legs instead of being lost to tone pulling the feet inward or up. They come as a pair with adjustable ankle straps as standard.
Fixing is with an Allen key from behind the plate, which means a position can be changed with the child already in the frame. Optional forefoot straps and front fix-locks are available where a foot needs more than an ankle strap to stay put.
The Meerkat uses its own sandal attachment, so these are not interchangeable with the universal sandals used on the Rabbit Up, Toucan, Gazelle or Caribou. Heel width is measured with the shoe the child stands in, and sizes are matched to the size 1 and size 2 footplates.
