About this product

The Rogue XP is for the child or small teen who pushes their own chair and wants to get on with it. It is an ultralight rigid frame ordered to script, light enough for a parent to lift into a car one-handed and stiff enough that the energy from each push goes into moving rather than into the frame.

What sets it apart from a fixed paediatric chair is how much the therapist can change after handover. Rear seat height moves without pulling the chair apart, camber is chosen from a range of settings, and the centre of gravity slides along the Dimple Track, so as the child’s skills develop the chair can be retuned rather than replaced. Growth capacity is built into the frame for the same reason.

It is transit approved to ANSI/RESNA WC-19 with integrated tie down points, so school buses and taxis are not a problem. Rear wheels, casters, armrests and camber are all chosen at order, which is why a seating assessment comes before a quote.

Good to know

  • Every seat dimension is set to script at order, so seating measurements are needed before quoting
  • Made in the United States, assembled and set up by Thrive Lifecare before handover
  • Rear wheel size, caster size, armrests and camber are chosen at order
