This kit adds the sliding support rods to a size 3 Flamingo, which is how the tilt on that frame is held once you have set it. The rods are tightened and released by the handles on either side of the frame, so a carer can change the angle mid session without tools and without leaving the child unattended.
It became the standard arrangement on size 3 frames built from late 2022, and this kit is what brings an earlier frame up to the same set-up. Services with older Flamingos in the fleet often fit it so every chair behaves the same way and staff training stays simple.
