About this product

Some skin cannot tolerate the weight of a sheet, let alone blankets. The Freedom adjustable bed cradle is a simple frame that takes the bedding off the lower legs and feet and holds it clear.

The lower frame slides under the mattress and the weight of the mattress holds it there, so there is nothing to strap or fix. The upper frame stands above the legs and carries the bedding. Height adjusts in set increments, so it can sit close to the legs for warmth or be raised to clear a dressing, a cast or a swollen limb. It fits standard domestic and care beds, and goes on and comes off without tools.

It is a low cost addition to a pressure care plan for clients with heel or foot pressure injuries, wounds, burns, oedema, gout, arthritic joints, hypersensitive skin from neuropathy, or anyone recovering from lower limb surgery. We supply it regularly for Support at Home clients and NDIS participants.
