The padded, adjustable back support for the largest R82 Crocodile frame, for an older child or young adult who needs posterior support through the trunk while walking. Padding matters at this size: the user is heavier, the contact forces are higher, and a bare bar is not comfortable over a full session.
Both the angle and the width adjust, so you can set it to the user’s trunk shape and change it as they grow or as their posture changes through the year. The angle adjustment is the useful one clinically, letting you work with a user who carries a posterior pelvic tilt without forcing them into a position they cannot hold.
It mounts to the frame through a cross bar, which is ordered separately, so check the client’s Crocodile already has one before you order. Allow time in the fitting appointment to set the angle and width properly, it is worth doing carefully.
