Most clients at falls risk end up with more than one sensor: a pad under the sheet, a pad on the chair, a mat by the bed, a pendant around the neck. The Cura1 2700 is the unit that listens to all of them at once, watching up to six wireless devices plus one corded Premium pad, and raising the alarm at the monitor and on the nurse call system if it is wired in.
Three selectable alarm tones, a volume thumbwheel and a silent mode let it sit in a bedroom, at a nurse station or in a living room without being intrusive. The pause function is the one staff notice: a carer can attend the client without disarming the system and forgetting to put it back on. If a pad stops reporting, a non-resettable signal lost warning says so rather than leaving a gap nobody knew about. A volt free relay output takes it into an existing nurse call system.
It suits aged care and hospital wards wanting one unit per bed space, and home care where a single monitor in the living area needs to hear from several sensors around the house. It is light enough to move room to room.
