The AreaCare Pressure Surface is a foam mattress for clients at low to medium risk of pressure injury who need a static pressure care surface at home or in care.
It is built in three foam layers: a memory foam top that lets the body settle in and spreads load away from bony points, a high resilience layer that carries the shape, and a firm base that stops the surface bottoming out during transfers and when the bed is articulated. That layering is what keeps it working on a profiling bed, with no dip forming at the hinge.
The cover is a latex free multi-stretch fabric with a polyurethane coating, so it moves with the foam and does not pull taut and add friction against the skin. It wipes down for infection control.
