For a client with reduced head control it is often the difference between tolerating a position for a few minutes and tolerating it for as long as the programme needs.

With the head settled, eye contact, swallowing and breathing all tend to be easier, and the carer has a stable reference point for feeding, hygiene or communication work.

R82 head supports mount to the frame through a holder, and the pad and the holder are matched to the frame and its size, so the specification depends on the equipment your client already has.
