When a carer has to grab clothing to steady someone, nobody is safe. The Staebel Belt gives the carer a proper handhold at the client’s waist for sit to stand and short walking transfers, with ergonomically placed handles that let them stay close to the person they are assisting.

It goes on simply: place the belt around the waist, adjust to fit and buckle. It is comfortable to wear, easy to adjust and washable, and it also works well when assisting a transfer across a sitting transfer board.

Clients often report a feeling of added security with the belt on, which can be the difference between a hesitant transfer and a confident one. Three adult sizes are available.
