About this product

The Fuze T50 is a full tilt in space chair for clients who sit for most of the day and need their position changed regularly. Tilt rotates around the centre of gravity, so the chair keeps its length and footprint through the movement and stays manageable in a bedroom, a lift or a small bathroom. It is built to script: seat width, seat depth and front seat height are all specified for the client.

The aluminium frame keeps the weight down for a carer, and recline, castor size and rear wheel size can be chosen to suit a client who self propels or one who is pushed. Tilt is infinitely adjustable, so a carer can make a small change for comfort instead of working between a couple of fixed positions.

Who it suits

Clients who need regular pressure redistribution or postural rest through the day but who spend long hours in the chair: neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, advanced MS, and older clients in residential care with poor sitting tolerance. A carer operates the tilt. With the right rear wheels the client can still self-propel between tilts.
