A fitted base sheet that makes turning in bed easier for the client and safer for the carer. A low friction satin panel runs down the centre of the sheet so the body slides side to side with much less force than a cotton sheet demands.
The edges are cotton and polyester, which deliberately stop the sliding. That matters at the edge of the bed: your client can sit on the side and get dressed or wait for a transfer without slipping off the surface.
This version fits with elastic corner straps, so a single carer can make the bed up and it holds on a deeper mattress. It suits clients who need help to turn for pressure care, wound care or continence care, at home or in residential settings.
