The Breezy BasiX2 is a folding aluminium wheelchair for everyday use, with enough adjustment to be prescribed for one person and reset as that person changes.
Who it suits
It suits a client who needs a daily chair that is light enough to be lifted into a car and adjustable enough to be set up properly. Seat height, seat depth, backrest height and castor angle can all be configured, and the backrest has adjustable tension straps for a client who needs support shaped around their posture. Flip-back armrests clear the way for a side transfer, and the rear wheels come off with quick-release hubs for transport.
Options include a half folding backrest, height adjustable armrests, elevating legrests, a step tube and a crutch holder, so one chair can be built several ways depending on who is being pushed and who is pushing.
