The Alivio Jannali is for the client who needs a profiling bed at home and has told you, firmly, that they do not want a hospital bed in the bedroom. The upholstered surround and choice of finishes put it closer to bedroom furniture than to ward equipment, and the working parts are all still there.
The handset drives backrest and leg profiling, Trendelenburg and reverse tilt, and a set of preset positions including flat, relax and zero gravity, so a client managing breathing or oedema can find a position on their own instead of waiting for a carer. The backrest auto-regresses as it rises, which keeps pressure off the abdomen and takes shear off the skin during a long sit up. It drops low for falls management and lifts to a height that saves carers’ backs.
It comes as a long single or king single, with a matching headboard and footboard available separately. The king single suits a larger client, or a client who wants a companion bed alongside. If your client sits above the user weight the bed allows for, or needs integrated rails and accessory sockets, a heavy duty or hospital style bed is the better call.
