Some transfers happen wet. Showering, hydrotherapy, a client who perspires heavily, or a sling that has to dry between uses on the same shift. The mesh version of the Invacare Comfort sling is made for those situations: the open polyester mesh drains and dries quickly and does not hold water against the skin.
The Comfort cut is hammock style, supporting the body evenly along its length, which makes it a good option for a client in chronic pain and for above the knee amputees. This is the high back version, so the head and neck are supported throughout the lift.
Colour coded loops let carers repeat the same positioning every time, and the sling washes at commercial temperatures for shared or facility use. Four sizes cover most adults.
