For plus size clients who need full body support in a seated transfer, this hammock sling from Arjo is built to carry the load and to sit comfortably while it does. It suits bed, chair, wheelchair, bathroom and floor transfers where the client cannot assist.
The legs are supported individually, which holds the hips in a controlled position and stops the legs pulling apart during the lift. The body of the sling is cut with extra room through the abdomen, so a larger client is not compressed as the hoist takes the weight.
It is fully padded in a soft mesh, which spreads the pressure and keeps the fabric breathing during longer lifts. Loop attachment means it works with Arjo passive lifters set up for loops, including ceiling track.
