The four layer structure puts open cell Airoform foam at the surface for breathability, over premium grade foam that carries the load and keeps the edges usable for transfers.
The cover is a medical grade option: waterproof, vapour permeable, four way stretch to reduce shear, with welded seams and a wipe clean surface that takes routine disinfection.
