This Arjo walking jacket is for rehabilitation and gait work with a person who has limited ability to move on their own. It holds the trunk in the hoist while the person practises standing, weight shifting and stepping, with the lifter taking the risk out of it for both people.

The jacket supports the whole upper body with a consistent fit, so a physio can work on real walking activity rather than on holding someone up. For the client, time spent upright and moving matters for confidence as much as for strength.

It is used with Arjo lifters that suit ambulation work, including ceiling track, which makes it practical in a rehabilitation gym or a home with track already installed. Available in large and extra large.
