For a client who has head and neck control but needs full support for the body during a hoist transfer, a low back sling keeps the lift simple. The back of the sling finishes below the shoulders, so there is less fabric to position and less to work around during a seated transfer.
Padded leg sections spread the load under the thighs, which makes the lift more comfortable for a thin client and less likely to dig in. Loop attachment means the carer sets the recline angle by choosing which loops go on the spreader bar, so the same sling handles a fairly upright chair transfer and a more reclined one.
The polyester fabric is strong, machine washable at a high temperature and dries quickly, which suits a shared or high turnover setting. It works on two point and four point spreader bars, so it fits into most existing hoist set-ups.
