Shorter clients and anyone whose support needs to sit low on the trunk are often let down by a back that is simply too tall. This shell starts lower and still adjusts steplessly in height, so the top edge lands exactly where the client needs it.
The upper section carries deep, depth adjustable lateral contours, which gives real mid line containment for a client with a lean while the fixed lower section holds the pelvis. Adjustments can be made in small increments with the client in the chair, so a fitting can be refined over a couple of visits.
Construction is a light two-piece aluminium shell with a dual density gel infused foam cushion and a washable antimicrobial stretch cover. Quick release mounting takes the back off for transport, and a scapula cut-out keeps the shoulders free for pushing.
