The four point suspension is the sling bar that hangs off a Molift hoist and carries the sling. Four attachment points hold the shoulders and the legs on separate loops, which gives you control over the client’s sitting angle and keeps the trunk better supported through the lift.
It is made from aluminium and fits with a quick release coupling, so a carer can change bars between clients or swap to a different width without tools. Three widths are available, and the right one depends on the client’s shoulder width and the sling being used: too narrow pinches the shoulders, too wide lets the client drop forward.
