Who it suits
The Axiom Back range gives you three levels of trunk support from one platform, so you can match the shell to the client and not work around a fixed shape. Posterior suits a client who needs the lumbar spine positioned and the trunk supported from behind. Posterior lateral adds shaping at the sides for a client who needs some containment. Deep lateral carries the most shaped contour for a client with limited trunk control.
All three are built on a lightweight aluminium shell with high resiliency foam, and all include an adjustable lumbar pad so you can set lordosis during the fitting and change it later.
The cover is a nylon and spandex blend over a waterproof breathable membrane, so the foam is protected while air still moves at the client’s back.
Hardware is chosen separately. There are options for quick install and removal, for heavy duty use, and a light fixed mount, and each brings its own range of height, width, depth and angle adjustment for growth or repositioning.
