Who it suits
Children and adolescents with moderate to complex disability who need a supported standing program, where the frame is moved between rooms, between home and school, or shared across a service.
The Ella converts between supine and prone standing in a couple of minutes, so one frame covers a client whose tolerance and goals change over time. This base uses a gas assisted tilt, which means the carer controls the movement with a handle and the frame stays light enough to relocate regularly without a second person.
Loading happens near horizontal, then the client is brought up to standing, which keeps transfers safer for the carer and less alarming for the client. Supports, laterals, knee blocks, foot plates and trays all mount to the same frame, and the upholstery comes off for washing. Four sizes carry a child through from the early years into adolescence.
