When feet slide off the footplates the knees drift, the pelvis follows, and the whole seating set up starts to give way. The Spex Foot-Fast stabilisers hold the ankle to the footplate so the lower limb stays where you positioned it.
The pads are soft and contoured to sit around the ankle without creating pressure points, and the buckle fastening adjusts for tension so carers can get them on and off quickly. Mounting hardware is included.
This version includes the posterior retainer strap, which adds control behind the heel for clients with strong extensor patterns or restless movement. They are supplied as a pair, in three sizes taken from the ankle circumference.
They need a clinician to fit.
