Pelvic position drives everything above it. The Pelvi-Loc uses a toothed ratchet tension system to hold the pelvis back into the seat in three dimensions.
The waterproof version is the one to script when the belt will be used in a wet environment, on a shower commode or a bath chair, or where continence means it gets cleaned often. Contoured positioning pads spread load and reduce pelvic pressure, and the ratchet levers are easy for a carer to operate with one hand.
Numbered straps mean the belt goes back to the same tension every time, so the setting a therapist decides on is the setting the client actually gets. The incremental ratchet can be adjusted quickly when clothing gets thicker in winter. It mounts to most seating: wheelchairs, commode chairs, indoor chairs and paediatric strollers.
