Clinicians spend long stretches perched on a stool while taking blood, dressing a wound or examining a patient, and an unsupported arm is where the fatigue shows first. This round stool carries a padded armrest that swings around the body and adjusts for height, so it can be set as a forearm rest for the clinician or as a support for the patient’s arm during a procedure.

The seat is a thick foam cushion on a gas lift with castors, so height is set in a second and the stool rolls where it is needed. The armrest swings clear entirely when a clean approach to the patient is wanted.

It is at home in a treatment room, a pathology collection bay, a dental surgery or a ward procedure area, and it is offered in a choice of upholstery colours.
