This GM Medical stand holds infusion and drainage bags on a ward, in a clinic room or beside a bed at home. The weighted five leg stainless steel base is the part that earns its keep: it stays upright when a line is pulled or the stand is wheeled over a threshold, which is where lighter poles come to grief.
Height adjusts with one hand, so a nurse holding a bag or a line can raise or drop it without putting anything down, and the castors let it travel easily beside a bed, a chair or a walking client.
