This chair gives your client separate control of the backrest and the footrest, so the legs can come up for oedema while the back stays upright to read or eat, and a resting position can be found that suits their hips rather than one fixed angle.
The lift action brings them forward and up towards standing, which protects a carer’s back at each transfer and lets a client who can weight bear manage it themselves. A total surface air pressure system sits through the seat for clients who spend most of the day in the chair, and the cushions lift out for cleaning.
The fabric is a low shear weave that reduces skin drag through the lift. Battery backup keeps the chair usable in a blackout, and the frame and foam carry a long warranty. Three sizes are made.
