The Zeat Seat is an indoor seating system for children who need postural support to take part in what happens at the table: meals, play, school work and therapy. It is modular, so laterals, chest strap, tray and hip belt come off when a child does not need them and go back on when they do.
Adjustment is wide and all of it is done with an allen key, which means a parent or a therapist can grow the seat without booking a technician. Backrest angle, seat angle and seat height all move, and the seat can be set right down near the floor for play. Setting the seat into anterior tilt encourages an active sitting posture at the table.
It is made in Australia from hardwood with a satin finish, so it reads as furniture in a family home or a classroom. The upholstery is soft touch dartex and wipes down after meals, and the wheely base lets it be moved from room to room.
We are Tasmanian owned.
