For a client whose head drifts back or to one side in the xRover, the special headrest adds a defined surface behind the head to rest against. It suits reduced head and neck control, and clients who hold their head well at the start of an outing and lose it as they fatigue.

Supporting the head properly keeps the airway open and the eyes up, which affects breathing, swallowing and whether the client can engage with what is happening around them. It also stops the repeated small knocks that come from a head rolling against a frame on rough ground.

It attaches with velcro and lifts straight off, so a carer can fit it, reposition it or take it out for washing without tools. Black and red are the standard colours.
