Who it suits
The Sentida 6 is a low nursing bed for a resident at risk of falling out of bed, and for care teams who still need that bed to move. This is the wide model in a beech finish, which gives more lying surface for a larger resident and looks like bedroom furniture.
Height adjustment is the clinical heart of it. The bed drops low enough that a fall from the mattress is a short one, sits at chair height for safe bed egress, and rises to a working height that protects the backs of the staff giving care. Divided SafeFree side guards adjust to several heights, so a resident can be supported without being fully enclosed.
Castors and a four castor central brake mean the bed can be rolled out of the room for transport or cleaning by one person, which is unusual in a low bed. The lying surface is divided into four sections shaped to reduce pressure through the back and seat, and surface elements come out for cleaning.
