Moving someone a short distance inside a building, from the front door to a consulting room or between wards, calls for a light attendant chair that one staff member can steer and fold.
This patient mover runs on small rear wheels with solid polyurethane tyres, which keeps the whole chair compact and easy to push down corridors and into lifts. The steel frame is powder coated and folds on a single cross brace for storage behind a door. Armrests flip back and footrests swing away, so a side transfer from a bed or a plinth is not obstructed.
At well under half the weight of a full size wheelchair, it is easy to lift into a vehicle and easy for smaller staff to handle. It is built for attendant propulsion, so the client does not self propel in it.
