About this product

Carbon fibre is what makes the Carbon Lite different. The transit model weighs 8.8 kg and the frame on its own just 6 kg, so it is easy to lift into a boot and easy to push.

Compact 269 mm (10.6 in) rear wheels keep the chair small, the backrest half folds and the frame folds compactly. Removable swing-away footrests with height-adjustable footplates clear the way for transfers. Push handle brakes put control with the carer, and anti-tip wheels, a seatbelt and a rear storage pocket are included.

Who it suits

A person who is pushed by a carer for outings, appointments and travel, up to 130 kg, where a light chair makes the difference. It has no tie-down points and is not for use as a seat in a motor vehicle, so plan to transfer into a vehicle seat. The seat and back are fixed, so tilt or complex postural needs call for a different chair. Book a trial and we will work through the options with the prescribing OT.
