When a client cannot load their hands and wrists, gait practice stalls. This walking tutor takes their weight through forearm gutters instead, holding the trunk upright and leaving the legs free to do the work of stepping.
The gutters adjust for height and the hand grips adjust for depth, so you can fit it to your client’s arm length. The cuffs rotate side to side, which helps where shoulder range is limited or one arm sits differently to the other. That level of fit matters, because a badly positioned gutter will push a client into the asymmetry you are trying to correct.
Swivel front castors with fixed rear wheels give steering for turns and directional stability for straight corridor work. It folds for storage and transport, so it can move between a client’s home and a therapy space.
