A single point stick is often all a client needs to steady themselves, and getting the height right is what makes the difference between a helpful stick and a trip hazard. This one adjusts through the shaft, so you can set it to your client’s wrist crease and change it later if their footwear or posture changes.
Three handle shapes are available. The crook hangs over an arm or a rail when it is not in use, the Devon handle spreads load across the palm for arthritic hands, and the offset handle puts the client’s weight directly over the shaft, which many people find more stable when they are loading it hard.
Black, bronze and silver finishes let a client pick something they will be happy to be seen with, and that has a real bearing on whether the stick leaves the house.
