A thigh high stocking only works if it stays on the thigh. This Varisan Top is knitted in a short leg length for clients whose legs are shorter than average, so the silicone hold-up band finishes in the right place and the graduated Class 2 compression holds its profile.
It is prescribed for oedema, varicose veins, trophic skin changes and clients who have healed a venous ulcer and need compression to prevent it returning. The open toe makes the stocking easier to don and leaves the toes free for clients who cannot tolerate pressure there.
The fabric is opaque, breathable and resistant to daily wear, and the anatomically inclined heel stops the foot section twisting. Plus width options are available where the calf or thigh is wide for the ankle measurement.
