Some clients cannot read a small display, whether from low vision, poor lighting or fatigue. The UA-1030T speaks the reading and the instructions aloud in English, French or Spanish, so a person can take and understand their own blood pressure without anyone looking over their shoulder.

It has the features that make home readings usable clinically: irregular heartbeat detection with averaging, a blood pressure classification indicator, and TriCheck, which takes three consecutive readings and reports the average as recommended for home monitoring. Cuff fit and movement error indicators tell the person when a reading should not be trusted.

The SmoothFit cuff is latex free and metal free and is shaped to avoid the bunching that makes inflation uncomfortable. A carry case and batteries are included.
