About this product

Graded resistance is hard to set up for upper limb work when the client cannot hold a weight or a band. This system clamps to a table and runs a cord through a pulley to a skateboard, so resistance or assistance is applied to the arm without the client needing any grip at all.

Because the weights are small and stack, a therapist can grade the load finely, which suits early stroke rehabilitation, tone management and endurance work where the jump between one dumbbell and the next is far too big. Running the cord the other way turns the same setup into assisted movement for a weak limb.

The clamp holds the board to a table or tray, so the same equipment works in a clinic, a school or a client’s home. An arm skate and board are ordered separately.
