Sliders are the small wear parts that let a bracket move smoothly inside an adjustable channel. They take the friction between metal parts, so adjustments stay easy to make and the channel does not wear or rattle over time.
Nylon is used because it runs quietly, needs no lubricant and does not mark the channel. In a seating setup that gets adjusted as a child grows or a client’s posture changes, that keeps the hardware working the way it did on the day it was fitted.
They are supplied as a pair, which is what a single channel assembly takes.
