Seat hardware is what holds a planar or custom seat onto a wheelchair frame, and the right set decides how quickly the seat comes off for transport and how solid it feels in use. This range covers drop hooks in several drops, rail locks, swingtabs and hinged collars, so you can specify a kit that matches the frame and the way the client’s family handles the chair.
Drop hooks are pressed steel with a powder coated finish, and the locks and swingtabs are anodised aluminium with a hinged wrap around design that clamps tight on round tube. Between them they cover the frame tube sizes found on most folding and rigid chairs.
A swingtab release lets a carer lift the seat off without tools, which is what makes a chair fit in a boot.
